Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru Safari
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and depart for Lake Naivasha as early as 7.30 am. Along the journey, you will have a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley view point to see the spectacular views of Mount Longonot and the expansive floor of the rift valley and its incredible escarpments.
On arrival, you will proceed to your lodge for check in and lunch. With packed lunch boxes head for Hells Gate National Park. Have optional bike riding and walking safari in the park.
Your guide will assist you hire a good bike for the Hells Gate bike ride, the guided walking safaris starts immediately from the Hells Gate in company of an experienced guide, enjoy picnic lunch at a picnic spot while enjoying your meals.
Late depart Hell’s Gate National Park and proceed to Lake Naivasha to enjoy an optional boat ride which seeing hippos, birds and the beautiful views of the lake. The boat ride lasts for about 2 hours as you watch the hippos and thousands of bird species. Proceed to the Crescent Island for a guided walk offering you a close encounter with animals such as zebras, giraffes, gazelles among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 2: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park. on arrival, you will proceed to your lodge for check-in and with your packed lunch box you will go for a game drive. Head to the lake to spot the flamingoes, white pelicans, ibis, plovers, storks, herons and many others.
Then embark on a game drive in the park to see hundreds of animals including lions, leopards, baboons, Rothschild’s giraffes, black and white rhinos, waterbucks, reedbuck, leopard and baboons. Drive back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ziwa Bush Lodge.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Nairobi
After breakfast, checkout of your lodge and embark on a drive to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound flight bringing your safari to an end.
